XNS Name Renewal Page Text

Here is the editable text from the proposed XDI.ORG Web page describing the XNS Name Renewal Program

1. Proposed Page Text

This program to offer everyone who registered an XNS Name the opportunity to convert the old XNS Name to an i-name is an explicit fulfillment of commitments made during the original XNS name registry service that operated from Sept. 26, 2000 through July 10, 2002. If you registered an XNS Name a few years ago, we urge you to take this opportunity to register -- at not charge -- it now as an i-name. We feel certain you will be glad you did. If you know of colleagues, friends, or family who registered XNS Names, please send a copy of this page to them right now. We are hoping to make as many XNS Name holders aware of this offer as we possibly can.

The following is a set of links to the germane documents for your review:

As part of the Identity Commons Early Global Services (EGS) program, Identity Commons (and one of its subcontractors - 2idi) are working together to deliver a service platform for the Cordance/XDI.ORG XNS Name Renewal program. This program is the responsibility and obligation of Cordance (formerly OneName) and XDI.ORG (formerly XNSORG.)

2. Comments Section

From Marc Le Maitre - I think we need to describe the program and point to the various authoratative documents such as the dispute resolution agreement.
