Global Services Specifications (GSS) Suggestions

A key responsibility of XDI.ORG is to establish and maintain the GSS for any global service XDI.ORG will offer to the public. The GSS will always be published for public review and comment before any global service is launched.

The GSS will include many of the specifications that currently govern the Early Global Services (EGS) program, but will be expanded to cover many more topics including technical, operational, and legal requirements for registry operators (Global Service Providers or GSPs), registrars (i-brokers), and registrants.

The GSS for the first unlimited global services are expected to be published for public review before the end of 2004.
